I'm gonna fork out for some tracking/analysis software later this week. I've tried Poker Office, Holdem Manager and Poker Tracker. Of these Poker Office seems to be best for tournaments(the HoldEm Manager certainly seems to be the best for ring games by far). Can anyone recommend any other suites that are good for tournament specialists?

The latest beta for HM has been devoted entirely to tournaments. I think its full release will be sometime this month. I hear it's very good although I haven't tried it yet.

The hem beta is brilliant for Stars, and mehish but getting there for ipoker.

Quality software by and for poker players.

Poker office was the first software I used and I liked it then, but it crashed a lot and support was poor.

I've never used any of these but have long been interested in getting one.

What do they record, stats as per how many flops people see, how often they CB / 3 bet fold, the positions they play from etc?

Hm and I assume PtT3 track *every* stat you can think of.

Poker Office and HoldEm Manager seem to be the best options for me. The only problem with both is the amount of 'goop' on my tables(table overlay data). Poker Office has separate tracking windows for each table running. Does HoldEm Manager have a similar feature? I really prefer separate windows for referencing information on my opponents as the table overlay really clutters my games.

Pokeroffice is about 3 years out of date. The overlaying data HM provides is fantastic. I have no idea why you wouldn't want it but you can turn it off if you like

The HM overlay isnt mapping the statistics against the player correctly. Its a positional problem as opposed to a data error. All the data just gets slapped onto my screen like mud thrown against a wall and I have to manually adjust it. Beyond this it doesnt remove players who have lef the table. I know these are bug issues but its difficult to shell out for the software when it isnt working properly

Open 1 table, test the hud. Move the stat boxes around and lock he layout. It will be perfect everytime after that.
It does remove the player. It may take a few hands but when player leaves the statbox will disappear and when another appears a statbox for him will come on screen.

Literally every stat you can think of.

IN PT3 it's possible to make your own stats (I've no idea how to do it, but I know it's possible) so if you wanted to know how many times a player CR's the turn after limping PF and the flop gets checked around, it'd be possible to make this stat.

I don't think you can make your own in HEM, but whoTF would want a stat like that, and the amount of stats HEM and PT3 already have in there is incredible.

The more I explore HEM, the more it impresses me.

Up to a certain amount of tables, my hourly improves nearly as much as it should ie I don't suck too much. Add one more table and I'm a complete loser, as expected.

Apparently, I'm not as bad as I thought I was.

Beat : the Mrs now thinks I can play poker and do the ironing at the same time

I did that and it had moderately successful results. The HUD remembers where the stat boxes should go position-wise and everything seems nicely aligned however I have to readjust the boxes with every new table break or tournament as it still doesnt match the boxes against the correct players.

What tournament specific features have been added?

Go into Hud options, setup hero names and add your poker nick as hero.

If you (hero) are in the same seat every time(such as on Stars, Full Tilt), open one table and put everyone's stats beside their name.

If you (hero) are in different random seats, open one table, put everyone else's stats beside their name, except hero's which should go in a good place for regardless of which seat you're in (for example, below the dealer or chip tray).

When you open another table and are in a different seat, everyone's stats should be right, except for the person in the seat you were previously in, which you can now adjust.

Still in beta for another week, but so far ...

Results sortable, by buyin, number of players, speed, date, multitabling etc.

    Time taken, ROI, $/hr.

Data view and replayer for all tourneys, hands.

    Graph results by tourney/day.

Result trends over time for ITM and ROI.
