he's 23 not 73 he's started about 12 games this year if he's on the bench then he must fit as rafa says he doesn't name players on the bench are are not fit.

so if he has an hour or so in him then why isn't he starting?

who said he has an hour in him? Maybe it's 30 minutes?

It's not only about him not being fit, it's about ensuring his hamstring is not stressed too much and his conditioning is right until the season ends

well Benitez said he was wrecked during the week cause he's on a new training schedule to try strentghen his hamstring so he prob decided to give him a rest and give the other two lads a chance which i think is a good idea... what happens if torres actually gets injured and babel or n'gog haven't played enough up front then liverpool are mighty fooked.. least he's given the other lads a chance and with torres on the bench he can bring him on if needs be.
