Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Missed two open goals in the first half. The goal was a gift from the 'Boro defence.

Had to happen eventually, they must have expected to score sooner though.

    What was the second one?

The goal was a superb finish on his weaker foot. It's funny how some people never get credit no matter what they do.

Another great save by Given. Boro are getting too many clear cut chances.

Well he's not as bad as Afonso Alves.

Tuncay on. If 'Boro get anything out of this, I'll bet he has something to do with it.

Well overall a good performance from City, all the new signings showed a bit today.
Given is just so classy and Bellamy got a great goal.

But for me, the guy I really enjoy watching is Wayne Bridge, he is such an intelligent footballer.

Just hearing about Given's great debut, I would like to be happy for him but damn it hurts.

Great debut for given made some brill saves. Man of the Match to so not a bad start to his city career

Man of the Match for our new goalkeeper. He was class.

Alves was absolute crap - should have burried a couple of those chances past Given, hit them to close to (if not straight at...) Given and gave him some nice looking saves he should easily have made. No wonder Boro are doing so badly, can't score easy chances.

I can really see Bellamy becoming a legend at this club, I always figured he'd do a lot better than folk thought. Given, was fantastic but we already knew he was the best keeper in the prem.

I'll admit the back four looked dodgy today but we are slowly crawling up the table and well, i'm delighted :D
