Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Lowepro shoulder strap failure!!!

Hi, during my holiday in Italy, in december, I bought a lowepro shoulder strap. I had attached my second body, a d200 with a 70/200 lens and a sb800 flash. During a wedding one of the rings that attached the camera to the strap opened and the camera crashed to the ground. The lens and the flash have just a few scraches, the lens hood is broken, the display of the camera jumped out and there is a crack just beside it on the body. I'm really upset about it. Should lowepro compensate me for that? Am I right saying that the product that was sold to me is not fit for the purpouse intended? Basically carrying my camera?
The display could be fixed but I don't think the crack can.
Does anybody know how I should deal with this?

    Thanks

    Angelo

I think you will find that the warranty would be limited to the strap alone & would not cover the camera.

Your travel insurance may cover accidental damage though.

it might be a case of compensation I would ring lowe pro and ask what they are going to do about it.

They will always say it was a bad use of the strap that's why it fell down, and you don't have any prove that you put it right (I'm not saying you put wrong) but I'm sure they would say that...
