People claiming the dole in Dunlaoghaire are being hit with parking tickets while they queue outside the social welfare office.

Dozens of people were slapped with the €40 fines but could do little to prevent it as they stood for more than two hours waiting to claim their unemployment benefits in Dun Laoghaire.

if they were prepared to stand for 2 hours waiting for their dole surely they oughta be prepared to park down the road and walk to the dole office.

I would suggest leaving the car at home altogether and taking the bus to the Dole office, DB could employ more staff and put on extra busses. :pac:

Dun Laoghaire is well known for having awful parking.

i wouldnt wave the fine, Just because people are signing on, doesnt entitle them to break the law.
