I just say my name on public transport and poeple flock to me offering gifts.
I wouldn't call a punch in the face a gift.

Actually Will himself spotted me while shopping, but didn't say hello. I've had a weird conversation just after christmas where randomers who were loosely mates of mates were discussing boards and PI in particular and namechecked me among others. They were lurker types(who may actually read this:D)Only one of my mates knew what was what but she said nada. Luckily it was pretty much all good about PI and mise, but of course they thought I was a woman. Doh!!:D

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

But, but but it's says you are on your biki:

    http://wiki.boards.ie/wiki/User:Wibbs
Wibbs is a mod of the Personal Issues and Sex / Sexuality. She has helpful insights to how relationships seem to work and her favorite phrase seems to be "Nail on Head".

Her intresting turn of phrase has been referred to as Wibbisms such as "It's not really nipple clamp, ostrich feathers up the bum, singing "Im a lumberjack and it's ok" territory."1

Wibbs prefers when moderating PI to differentiate between her on topic rambling and mod directives by posting her mod directives using bold text.

and I'm not changing nor complaining. I'm thinking of the Trojan horse effect, whereby I may get to use a Trojan in the fullness of time. "I can't believe you're a man" swooooon.... Hasn't worked out that way, but one lives in hope.:D

lol me and the OH were out burning up the dance floor in the porterhouse north on friday night and some randomer came up to him asking if he was on boards

It was bugging me for aaaages! I was wondering if I recognised him from work/college/near where I live? Then it clicked....boards. Had to ask! Sorry for interrupting the dancing. :)
waves, at chinafoot who then appeared to have to carry someone out of the pub:D:D

Oh god love her! She was trying to keep up with my sister and wasn't able. Great fun trying to get a cab to take us! Good night all the same though :)

I usually lol when I find others from boards.

People usually guess who I am, which used to be weird, but is now just funny. I also tend to laugh when I find out that they are a mod. And then ask someone to verify they are who they say they are.

I've never been approached anyway. The closest would be the time I heard two young lads talking about me while on the Luas, which was sort of cool.

If someone did approach me in work or elsewhere, I'd probably deny it regardless.

    who denies it? and why?

I haven't yet had to deny being Rb from Boards.ie, but if the site is ever brought up I always claim to have never used it. It's just easier imo, I wouldn't want work colleagues bringing up something I've posted here or launching into a debate with me over my opinion on something that they disagree with.

Not to mention the complete psychopaths I've permanently angered here, there's no telling what they'd do to me if they caught me off guard :)

depends on the person i suppose. never had anyone come up to me asking "hey are you creamy goodness from boards.ie?" whether i'd tell them or not would depend on a couple of things.

    1. how hot they are.
    2. does she look like a complete psycho, i don't want some bitches name carved into me.

    Ha ha, yes.

Palmerstown is massive in only one sense, and thats more the London Hip Hop sense than anything to do with geography. Its amazing I've yet to bump into you at a bus stop/in supervalu/something similar.

The day I do, I promise not to use your real name and not go 'Twee? From the computer thing?'

    ----

A good college mate of mine set up an account in the last few days. Have to watch what I say now :)
