Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

arsenals midfield is so average imo, and i find them really boring to watch compared to the team with Henry, Pires and the likes.

Lennon and Palacios are having great games thus far.

What's happened to Toure? A few years ago he looked like one of the best central defenders in the Premier League. Now he doesn't even look like he wants to be playing.

Keane oh dear, should have scored a free header off a great delivery from Lennon. Almunia all at sea.

Adebayor is a good player. Good, not great.
Anyone could score 30 goals in a season with the players we had creating them for him last season.

Hell I could score 10+ goals a season if I had Fab, Rosicky, Hleb and RVP setting them up for me.

He can be good but has been awful since he signed his new deal in the summer.

After all the 'big clubs want me, I'm going to Barca' bollocks and then the 'oh wait, I'm on 70k a week, never want to leave Arsenal ever ever, the best club in the world' over the summer, he's really annoyed me.

    Kolo Toure @ 50/1

I'll have that, cant see us scoring outside a corner or free kick

I heard its more that he has gotten involved with some wrong people off the pitch in London and its been then that his performaces on the pitch have deteriorated.

    RVP back into LM

    About time

Ye I think the captaincy situation could have been handled better. There's still life left in him, it was a great run in the first half where he pulled it back, back to the old days of Toure running through the centre.

Wonder will Bent make an appearance.

Big Darren on for Big Pav...

Looks like Denilson has moved out to RM and Nasri has moved into the center.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,129 ✭✭✭✭Quazzie

It was something a cousin that lives in London said to me and I kinda brushed it off at the time but he reminded me of it over the xmas holidays and it kind of made sense. I've no hard evidence/links etc so I won't talk much more about it.

Keane slides a clever little ball through for Modric but Almunia does well to beat him to the ball.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,129 ✭✭✭✭Quazzie

Ade not on crutches which I presume is a good sign.

Fair play to Arsenal here, hanging on well considering they're down to 10.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 54,678 ✭✭✭✭Headshot

    that was close by song

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,399 ✭✭✭✭Thanx 4 The Fish

Song unlucky there, keeper was nowhere near it, on target and it was in.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,407 ✭✭✭✭LuckyLloyd

Oh my, Song with a really great chance from a corner. That was the 1 - 0 Arsenal win right there...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,129 ✭✭✭✭Quazzie

Song wide by a gee hair. Fcuk that was a good chance for us. We might be better leaving it a bit closer to the end to take the lead though

**** keane. would have been such a keane goal

Heart in mouth from that Keane shot

They did really well went they went down to 10 men earlier in the season against Liverpool in the Emirates. Agree that they have taken a certain amount of sting out of the game over the last 10 minutes

EDIT: as I type, Keane whizzes one past the post

Well if it was a hammie tear I'd expect him to be on crutches. It might be just a strain.

Keane very unlucky there. We're doing well to hang on.

lol what? he hit it wide whats the big deal?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,399 ✭✭✭✭Thanx 4 The Fish

Cudiccini does make them look so much steadier at the back. Must be good as a defender to know that you have not got some loon behind you who is as likely to throw it in the net as save a shot.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,617 ✭✭✭✭PHB

You really wouldn't know Spurs have an extra player. Their full backs just aren't doing enough, so this is a good substitution

  • Registered Users Posts: 799 ✭✭✭Indie18

I always said about Keane that he needs 3 or 4 chances before he will even test the keeper..... But I should keep things like that to myself because he will go and score now.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,129 ✭✭✭✭Quazzie

Bit if a high boot there by assou ekoto. I'm surprised RVP didn't make more if it.

    +1

theres more to a great keeper than shot-stopping. gomes is probably one of the better shot stoppers in the league but he doesn't inspire confidence in the defence.

And more, he gives them a bit of backbone.

RVP lucky not to get a card there.
