Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Vista file sharing problem

    I have a network at home with a mix of Vista and XP machines, Suddenly one of the Vista pc's can no longer connect to any file shares on an XP pc, It just keeps bringing up the authentication prompt and even with valid details it does not authenticate. Anyone seen this before?

    Apparently not uncommon.

    Check some extra horrid Vista service or Firewall setting not turned on by an update.

    Yeah I checked through the usual suspects and had no joy, The funny thing is......its now working. I did not make any changes to the setup and its just working....... GG vista.
