I have an LCD in the bedroom that the sound is fairly bad on so I was thinking of getting an additional set of speakers. All I can find is home theatre kits, I don't really need another DVD player or surround sound. I really just want something cheap and cheerful. Any suggestions?

You are not happy with the cheap and cheerful speakers from your tv and you want to supplement them with more cheap and cheerful ones?

My suggestion to you is to have a listen to something such as the B&W Zeppelin which has good stereo sound, accepts a line input and is also a very nice IPod dock.

probably something like €450.
