But isn't the Lyric part of the song?

She's on the sunday night project tonight.. Yeah, she's cool.

Harry Enfield was her step father for a while.. :pac:

Looking good minus the weight. Lily.. not Harry.

    He's still fat. :D

As much as I hate saying this.. yeah I think its pretty good, well produced pop song. Better than some of the other muck in that genre at the moment...

Yes, it is brilliant. I hope Irish kids in the 8 to 14 bracket get the lyrics. If they do. things will be a lot better...

    I think its very catchy

I was humming it all last night after she was on the Sunday Night Project on Ch4

It's decent catchy pop, though the chorus lets it down a little I think.
The lyrical idea, however, is a complete lift of this:

Considering all Lily contributes is lyrics/vocals, she could try a bit harder to be original....

Not a complete lift, just a generally related "life" theme, IMO.

    And anyway:
-these universal themes need to be stated in different ways
    -originality is over rated :)

dont you just love hearing lily saying **** :D:D:D

meh, I can't help but feel it a little ironic that Lily Allen would be singing those lyrics.

But anything that stops the kids listening to bitches and bling and gets them to think (if only momentarily) is a good thing.

that girl is gorgeous! none of the bleached plastic bull****. just a lovely looking girl.

anyway i bought the album today.. have to say its really well produced with some lovely electronica going on.. but its very very bitter in the lyrics!!! i think she needs some sunshine or something.

Cracking song, and for those that are interested, there are some great dance mixes of it out there too.

Haven't heard the song meself but I will comment on her sexiness, I wouldn't say she's a stunner but she has that girl next door sexiness and after seeing a couple of very nice pictures of her in the star last week I definately definately would (and yes I would boast about it too).

A great wee pop song. Great to hear bad language in pop music too. Good to know I'm not alone :-)

for the love of the divine ... it's starting to grow on me having heard it again last night while taking a break from experimenting with minimal techno in Ableton for the first time. If word of this gets out at home it will totally blow all my decades of ambient electronic/Radiohead/death metal/techno/psytrance credibility with family and friends.
