    Hi SMODS - I'm going to follow up the post with a clarification of some of the most common complaints and misunderstandings I get in PMs and posts regarding moderation. I hope you don't mind. I'm going to link the post from my sig (it was too big to put in my sig).

    Things you should consider before contacting me about moderation:

    1. I have read and know the forum rules/charter, have you?
    2. I can see your ban/infraction history.
    3. If I give a warning, I follow through.
    4. See where I said "don't reply in thread"? I meant it.
    5. Abuse or trolling me via PM, is going to do the exact opposite of getting you unbanned.
    6. Yes, I mod Paranormal, no it doesn't mean I believe in UFOs, fairies, ghosts or monsters.
    7. Yes I mod the Sciences, no it doesn't mean I can't/shouldn't mod Paranormal (Think Scully)
    8. I don't support Liverpool.
    9. I don't support Manchester United
    10. I don't support any English Premier League team.
    11. There is a very good chance I've seen and played more soccer than you.
    12. I have no opinion nor alliegence regarding Northern Ireland.
    13. I have no alligence to ANY Irish political party.
    14. I don't support the PRC government and I'm not "a commie".
    15. I'm not pro-tibet.
    16. Yes, I'm American, no I'm not fat, no I'm not stupid.
    17. Unless there is an idiot involved, I'm Republican.
    18. I've actually read EU immigration law.
    19. I'm not in your timezone.
    20. I have a life outside boards.ie, if I don't respond straight away, it is because I'm doing something more important.
    21. If you are civil and polite in your complaint, I will reply as best I can. If not, don't hold your breath.
    22. I DO and WILL overturn bans if I feel I've been rash/harsh
    23. Bribes must be in the form of expensive surfing or snowboarding equipment usually upwards of 1000 USD
