Ok so the groups have been drawn. There are 4 groups of 6 people with the top 2 in each group qualifying for the Quarter Finals. Each person plays everyone else in their group once and it is best of ten legs per match.

The groups are as follows:

I think Group 4 is a very strong group, the group of death!!

Was there any reasoning behind the who got into what group, were they grouped by averages we gave in the darts profile thread or was it just the luck of the draw?

i'm looking forward to see how i get on. average around 55-60 on dartpro when i play. never played in any sort of a tournament, just practice myself at home. can throw well but can also throw rubbish, hopefully i'll throw well!!!!

Play seven legs, then start it up again I suppose!

then wouldn't it be better to play best of 14 so we can have two game of first to seven and it'll be easier to keep track. it also mean we can draw 7-7 aswell

No that's too long of a game, we might do this for the next tournament. It takes longer to play a match when you're using ezchalk so you would be playing for ages if it was best of 14. Just do what ratinakeg says, keep score yourself.

nhughes100 it was an open draw, I just stuck everyone's name into a cup and pulled them out. Was luck of the draw.

im hoping to play carrickman this evening sometime after six .just waiting for him to comfirm it with me , like kingp cant wait to get on the board ,had a few games up in the local last night happy with the darts im throwing

Was ezchalk slow today? I saw parts of both games it seemed to run smoothly.

I thought it was pretty slow but considering it was my first time playing it, i don't know if it was any worse than normal...

It froze once or twice but it wasn't too bad. Still took me and Degag over an hour to play our game though.

just had a thought. after this league is over we should all try and meet up for a few games. good way of getting to know each other and would be good craic,:D

It would be great if we could get a free board for a few hours so we could have another tournament!

Id be up for this. Find ezchalk very slow and this would be a bit of crack.

if there's enough of us up for it, we can sort it out between ourselves
(venue,date,time) and have it suit as amny people as possible and like scunner said ezchalk is very slow and you can't beat playing face to face:D

The group tables have now been updated with all the scores of the games that have been played so far. There are still some games from Round Two which have to be played that's why the tables are a little scewed.

Just found out will be away for the week so I wont be able to fulfil my fixtures for Game 2 and 3. Sorry about that everyone! Really disapointed I cant play!!! put me down for 2 10-0 losses I suppose! Nightmare!

When are you back, as in when would be the earliest time you could fulfill your fixtures?

I will put you down for two 10-0 losses but if you can arrange to play your games with your opponents when you get back then thats fine by you. It's up to you.

Why am I in this Group of Death?;)
I'm seriously enjoying these matches even though I haven't won yet (5-5 in my first game followed by two 6-4 defeats)
Really happy with my average of just over 60!
