What is the best underlay to use for an floor of engineered wood where underfloor heating is installed?
We've been recommended to use cardboard as it won't interfere with the heat coming up from underneath. There seems to be a number of other higher-tech options available but is the cardboard sufficient?

I would have thought that the standard white 3mm foam underlay would suffice. Again it will let the heat through and is very cheap.
