Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I think he has a better first touch at 5 than most of us will ever have.

A poor man's Mark Rutherford. You'd really have to blame the keeper for the first and there are some very weak challenges at times..

That's just ridiculous... So much talent at 5/6 years of age!

You can see even now that his game is exactly the same. Fantastic control, intelligence and pace...

    Phenominal!

    Quote from Messi's U-7 team's strategy manual.

Page 1: Give Leo the ball.
    Page 2: Win

I wonder if the growth hormone stories were true...

I remember all the talk was about Jean Carlos Chera a few years ago

Yeah - the stories are rue, well...kinda. He needed perfectly legal medical treatment as a kid and his family or club could not afford it. Barcelona offered to pay for it in order to get him to spain.

I demand a DNA test from Maradona to prove once and for all that Messi is his, born in 1987, after winning the World Cup and knocking England out chances are he had his way with anybody willing in Argentina.....DNA test now me thinks

reminds me of a young starlet called john o'shea - he plays for manchester united and is in the republic of ireland international squad, he is a late developer but he is a undoubted talent and once his full potential is unlocked he will be an unstoppable force on a gravy train to world cup glory!

My brother played schoolboy interenational with O'Shea, apparently every club in the premiership were keenly interested in him as a youth before he went across the water

    LOL.

July 93 he would have been turning 6. This was May 93, making him still 5 to be fair!! "Messi at nearly 6" just doesn't ring the same way! :P

Seriously tho, great find, the guy is a genius, unreal close control.

These big man-legs don't do close control.
