Great hotel down the country for Valentines weekend on the cheap?

Anyone know of somewhere very nice with bar, restaraunt, good location, etc. preferably down the country? Was interested in bringing the family down for the weekend from probably Friday since its the fathers birthday :) Would like to know of one of the finer hotels in Ireland that are selling rooms on the cheap for this…

Try the killerig resort (formerly Ramada) in Carlow. Kids playground and pool, also beauticians!
