(10/02/09) and is running til this Sunday my mate told me today.

this morning i got Fallout 3 for 38euro, Quantum of Solus for 30euro and Alone in the Dark for 20 quid!

it includes already marked down games which is handy!



They have the rockband kits aswell so 40% off those too.
Doesnt include PC games or accessories i was told, but they dont have many anyways.

going back later to pick up some DS games for the lady and PS3 games.

they are one of the most expensive places in Eire, so it probably only puts them in line with most shops up north

its not like they sell their games at 100euro then mark them down!

they are generaly cheaper that any game store, all new titles they have always sold at 56euro instead of Game's 65euro

..that and the sales staff can usualy barter.

I know you can haggle them down, but I would have thought that consoles & games weren't negotiable

Fallout 3 for €38 is nothing amazing and Game did a very good promotion on it about a month ago (lasted a few weeks) for €25 on PS3 (and Xbox 360 I think)

Would be worth having a look at but wouldnt go out of my way for it!

Plus they wont haggle on a console game:rolleyes:

Fallout was €25 in Game the last i checked

Those are actually the retail prices of those games new in most stores. Fallout 3 might even be cheaper some places, it was 25 euro for ages in Game. I just don't get why people are so eager to grab what they assume is a bargain....if you'd gone into Game or Gamestop, between them you'd have easily gotten the same games, for the same price really - would you have bought them then?

You got ripped off! I got Fallout3 for €25, Quantum of Solace for €25 aswell and AiTD for €15! All off play.com or the hut.com

picked up a 80gb PS3 and resistence 2 for 319 quid today.

and the 20% off the consoles is probably moot as there are other shops doing better bundles

Not even good prices in fairness. I got the limted edition fallout 3 for xbox 360 for €30 in gamestop months ago.

They're very high "bargain" prices... I got the collector's edition of Fallout 3 at release for that price.
