Transfer Tom Tom to Garmin

A friend of mine replaced a dead Tom Tom 710 with a Garmin nuvi 265W. He has allot of favorites on the Tom Tom (salesman) that he'd like to transfer to the Garmin but like I said the Tom Tom is dead and won't turn on. It's been on it's last legs for a while and resetting has no effect anymore. I have a backup of the Tom…

Nice one I think I got it. I needed to change tomtom favorites into points of interest before I could convert them over.
