    a chairde,

    I want to put a home audio system into the house i am refurbishing.
    The quotes I've got have been very high.

    I am wondering if I can simply source the speakers and decent audio cable myself, and have my spark connect them to a central unit bought directly,
    say a Speakercraft or something.

    Has anyone done it this way?
