Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

New Laptop Help

Hi,this is probably the 65th thread here looking for help in buying a new laptop but here goes; I already own a basic advent laptop,seems very slow and im on my second battery( €90 by the way) which at only 3 months old wont last 20 minutes,but the main reason i want to change is that i have loads of family videos on it…

Hi,this is probably the 65th thread here looking for help in buying a new laptop but here goes;

I already own a basic advent laptop,seems very slow and im on my second battery( €90 by the way) which at only 3 months old wont last 20 minutes,but the main reason i want to change is that i have loads of family videos on it but dont know what to do with them.And the software seems very tricky to use re; editing and making disks.
I looked at an Apple and apart from the price it looked real neat.Any ideas?
