different up and down speeds

Hi, i will try and explain this as best i can, shed/ office at top of garden, 3 mb boardband into shed, always there or there abouts at 3 mb both ways, connection is going into a router and from there into pc. From router there is a wireless link to house, in the house getting about 2.5mb download but the upload speed…

Hi,
i will try and explain this as best i can,

From router there is a wireless link to house, in the house getting about 2.5mb download but the upload speed drops way down to about 1mb at best...
cisco router and 3com wireless, pc in shed and imac in house.

Any ideas why the upload in the house in different from the download?
