    84X to Brewery Rd...

84X is the best bus for people looking to get to stillorgan. Where is the stillorgan Luas I'm not sure as I've only been on the luas once.

You could also use the 84X to brewery road but will leave ya a bit of a walk

Sandyford is a bit more awkward. I know there is a finnegans service from bray that goes to sandyford but that would mean a 184 or 84 first

Ah it's not that long of a walk from Brewery Road to Sandyford Luas stop. I'd imagine 5/10 mins? Or am I completely off? You walk down Brewery Road and the Luas is just before you get to the end of Brewery Road. It's not that long of a road... I've never walked it myself though.

This map will give you an idea

Yea google mapped it. Looks quite quick. Cant believe there are no bus connections direct from Bray or Greystones to ease the traffic, dart or 90 mins bus journey into town.

as mentioned there is a bus from Bray to the Luas - its run by Finnegans:

according to Google maps its 1.8km from Stillorgan Rd (Brewery Rd) to the Sandyford luas stop - it might be possible to cut across by the reservoir though which would knock a few hundred metres off the walk. TBH I think you'd be better off staying on the 84X at that point (unless you're trying to get to Dundrum or Ranelagh etc).

There is a walk way on Brewery Rd so it would be a bit less. Seems a lot shorter when you're driving! :p

If you're meeting in Ranelagh, just get off the bus at the Appian Way junction with Leeson St. 5mins walk to Ranelagh.

The 84X stops there, the normal 84 doesn't, so if taking the 84, you'll need to jump off somewhere along the N11 between Loughlinstown and Donnybrook Depot and get a 145 or 46A/B/C the rest of the way.
