Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I need some help regarding choosing a dinner menu. I am a very fussy eater so can't go by my own standards.
For our beef option we have the choice of Striploin or Roast rib of beef. which would be nicer? Help is appreciated!

I always use rib for roasting. The marbling in the meat makes it very succulent and flavoursome. The only thing is, rib needs to be cooked slowly or it will be tough.
It's not the one to use if you like your roast beef rare.

Rib on the bone - the rolled rib is usually rubbish tied up with string.

I disagree on the cooking rib rare - if it's a good piece of beef it will be fine - not fillet steak tender but not tough either. It's my favourite cut for roasting - if you can get a decent well hung rib on the bone.

I like a striploin steak but have found roasting striploin to be disappointing!
