So where do people think the healthiest Place to eat on Campus is. The main canteen can have to odd healthy option in their menu but there must be more.

I am talking more in the line of a good feed as oppossed to salads and sandwhiches.

Personally I like the restaurant in the Library, I suppose if your loking for healthy the restaurant in Kemmy seems to have a lot of salads etc...

Hot chicken roll from spar usually does me though

    Yeah, that's healthy:p

I too have been a victim of the reasonably priced hot chicken roll with accompanying custard doughnut.

Screw that, sausage bagutte + a bottle of coke kept me fed for many many days granted it's probably contributed to my fat bastard affliction now :/

Can I just say that the €3.99 meal in the main canteen is very good these days. It really has improved. The pancake with chicken brocolli and sauted potatoes was savage today.

    Well done to all!

Taking price into account the Paddocks is pretty good value for money & is generally healthy. The Sports bar is quite good too, better than the Stables I think.

    I love the Stables.

The Library gives very small portions.

you don't have to worry about putting on weight in the paddocks anyway, the portions are so small.

Come on don't be trolling now :)

And the Sports Bar is the healthiest I think, You often see the Munster and Ireland Squad in there eating so it must be healthy.

It's good value too, €6 for freshly made omelette with chicken, ham etc, 2 brown toast and beans. YUM

Red raisins area where you used to be able to get the hot food.

Starbucks is opening too in where the enclosed cafe was.

Are you serious, the college is getting a Subway AND Starbucks?

KBS Canteen is quite good, I've never had a complaint about any of the sandwiches/wraps/panini's I've gotten there..

I also adore a fry from the Paddocks! Its the best way to kick-start a day, and especially great if feeling a little uneasy after a night-out..

Subway and Starbucks in the main building are a good idea, but I cant see myself going up there for either tbh.

Any place outdoors would be healthy enough. You'd get plenty of fresh air ;)

I hated working in UL as the closest eatery to my office was the café beside the concert hall. All they sold were muffins and goodies! The healthiest food on campus I found was the Millstream Restaurant, but a bit expensive!
