Just found out eircom are giving all new broadband subscribers in my area a 3mb connection while leaving existing users on 2mb.

Is it worth hassling them for an upgrade with line stats like this?

    Downstream Upstream
Max Allowed Speed (kbps) 2048 256
    SN Margin (dB) 9.50 22.00
    Line Attenuation (dB) 42.00 28.00
    CRC Errors 15675 76

My area was upgraded last august but was downgraded again the next day :(

Im paying for a 3mb connection while only getting 2, my next door nieghbour is paying the same and getting 3mb....I'm just wondering if my line could handle 3mb from the stats in my first post?
