    Just a quick yes/no suggestion I think.
    Is it possible to remove the original poster's name from a Forum Announcement ?
    See Adverts Support here

    The announcement has "Sparky" underneath it - looks a bit crap/silly I think. People probably think "why have this crowd got announcemnets fro/for Sparky ? - sparky who? who's sparky? what's a sparky?" - There's lots of Adverts users who don't use boards. Also , could you maybe have the Announcement stand out a bit ? Highlight it somehow ? Nothing obstrusive or disgusting or too distracting but something that makes it stand out.

    I think that page looks a bit confusing, especially if someone's just using Asverts and then goes there for some reason.

    Also, as a side suggestion to that that's just popped in to my head (probably a nonstarter) but , any chance you could get an Adverts logo of some sort on that page ? I have just about zero understanding of forum software and websites but I assume that this would be way too hard ?
    How about only having the Prefix Search Filter only visible to mods ? Can't see why other people posting there would need it - it also I think makes things more complicated for people who just use adverts.

    {feel free to shoot me if this all causes too much headache}

    What about using a generic account with the username "boards.ie" for Announcements ?

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
