Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    looks interesting.

Looks it works by recording a single video input. So what ever your watch you record. Looking at pics of it from san disks site it has remote control emitter and receiver so it mimics the remote of say your sky box to allow its planner to work. which means you need to pop a wire onto the front of your tv, sky/upc box like this http://www.sandisk.com/Assets/Image/Img/v-mate/Videosource_boxw_ir_emitter.jpg Not something id like myself the way the cables need to be.

Let us know how it works for ya.

Just spotted this on HUKD. I ordered one but is it too good to be true. Opinions would be greatly appreciated.

I was just looking at that too lindtee.

From reviews it seems like playback of files recorded from TV are poor/grainy quality when played on TV but are sufficent for playing on portable devices like phones or ipods. It sounds like it's not really intended for TV playback at all so it's not a DVDR replacement.

However one person said that playback on TV is supposed to be dramatically improved if you download the latest firmware and save files to mp4 format.
Make sure to try that. :)

I have one of these. The quality of the picture is quite good. Not great if your watching it on a TV, but suitable for a laptop sized screen. The biggest issue I have with it is audio. There is an unusual disortion in the sound which is very annoying. Mine didn't come with any scart adapters (and was ordered from a UK company).
