if you get an unwarranted infraction does it stay on your account for ever, even if the mod who gave it apologies for being drunk at the time of giving? Can it not be removed?

The record will stay on your account but only Mods can see it.
Is it the one given to you last Dec?
If the Mod drops me a PM I can show a reversal on it if it was given in error.
