Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Some Horse portraits. It wasn't planned, I saw them at a gate on a backroad, so I used my 135mm lens to get some quirky angles. Let me know what ye think !
/See large for the detail in their eyes:

None of them have noses!

In all honesty, i think your somewhere in between not close enough to the eye, and too close to the face to get the right shot for me.

Number 7 works pretty well from where i'm sitting though. The rest all seem to have quite a lot of distractions, wire, other horses etc.

I nose what you mean.... I just had a facination for their eyes ! (if that doesn't sound too strange)

I completely understand, thats why Number 7 works so well because youve caught the eye without distractions.

Number 2 would be the same but the horse seems to be looking away a little too much, and number 5 has actually caught my attention this time around...maybe a slight crop off the bottom though?

1,2,5 and 7 for what you are looking for (presumably the eyes) 7 would be the nicest.

    #1 and #7 for me.

You made a classic mistake that I made last week when I upped my Punk gig pics to a Punk site, I posted up 12 or so but I used a vocalists with their mouths wide open close to a mic in 4 of the shots, which while not normally a problem because I'd placed them in the thread in the 1st 5 photos so it took away from my overall set I felt, if I had've spread them round more evenly I probs would have got away with it.
1 and 7 are great but because every pic you upped is the same style, ie no nose you've taken away from the set.
Anyway 3-4 pics for C&C is far more effective, I would've done that and put a link such as.....

    More pics here

(I would've made a seperate album for the horses)
