Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Photo recommendations please

    My wife and I have decided that we would like to put up a couple of photos in the sitting room. We both like coastal landscapes and would love to get some shots from around the Mayo and Cork coasts as that's where we're originally from.

    We will probably call into Giles Norman in town for a look in the next couple of days as we kinda like his stuff.

    Does anyone have any recommendations for any other places/sites/photographers/etc. to check out?

    I have a few Giles Norman's in the house and have given some as presents but with go with suggestions above if I was buying again!

    I can send you a few snaps from me holiers if you like? All coastal & 100% Irish!:D

    Giles Norman has nice stuff, but he's a bit pricey! Check out some of the stuff around here I'm sure there are plenty of the folks on here would be delighted to sell a few prints.

    I'm a fan of Man Ray and Joel Peter Witkin...
    But i'm into surrealism and that sorta stuff... So i'm not sure if they'ld suit your living room!

    a fantastic photographer (oroginally from sligo) his stuff is really striking.

    is there anywhere specific in mayo you're looking for?

    you could try checking out the mayo groups on flickr, if you see something you like you could always contact the photgrapher and order a print - i know i've sold 2 prints that way. (only 2, mind - but it's 2 more than i ever expected to sell!!!)
