Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi guys,

I'm playing with the idea of going back to college to study photography as I feel I need another direction.

I'm not sure if I will go down the road of part time studying or bite the bullet and go back full time yet so I would appreciate any information or help with regards finding courses located around Dublin.

There are always good and bad schools and courses so I want to know where you would or would not recommend and why please.......

I would rather learn from other peoples mistakes or experiences then make them myself wink.gif

    Thanks in advance,

    Alan.

I'm just looking on information on where does photography courses?

A list of colleges around Dublin that hold full or part time courses?

And generally just people's opinions as to whether or not it is worth studying full time?

Ncad Dit and Griffith and dun l do full time degree and ballyfermot griff and maybe some others do part time diplomas and full time... I think.

Worthwhile... Depends what you want from it, you can take it as any arts degree, you learn general skills that can be applied in other fields or you can look at it as trainning to be a photographer

it's too late to apply for any of the CAO ones, as you need a portfolio and the deadline was feb 1st.

Bugger! I've only recently just started giving college a serious thought.....
Although if I remember right- going back as a mature student you don't go through the CAO........
