    Welcome to the recession ... I as a graduate in the 80's with an honours degree in a technical discipline worked these kind of jobs.

    I've an interview on Tuesday for a grad programme that I've no real interest in. I wasn't going to go but based on this thread i suppose I should reconsider, ya?

    Go for the interview, even if you won't want the job interview experience is good.

    But consider the alternatives if there's no other jobs...

    Also, within a job that you might hate initially, you might get an oppertunity for something better. That happened to me, and I count myself lucky.
