I've just made a large amount of gorgeous fish cakes. to finish they should be dipped in breadcrumbs and fried in oil. I want to freeze some of them but I'm not sure if I should dip them first in the breadcrumbs and then freeze or leave the dipping until just b4 cooking?

I would think your best bet is to coat and part-fry them before freezing. Then it's straight from the freezer into the fryer when it's time to finish the job.
