End of o2 iPhone contract

What happens when the 18 month contract with o2 comes to an end......can I change to a new network, change to pay as you go, or do I have to renew a pay monthly contract with o2?

the more important question will be whether O2 will supply an unlocking code for the iphone for you to do what you want with the iphone.

My guess is that they are gonna "strongly encourage" you to take out a new contract.

Is there any sign of o2 changing their price plans for the iphone?
