Hey all, dont know if this is the right place to bring this up or not but my girlfriend is in her final year of Leisure Management in DIT and to be honest, is a bit depressed about her prospects thereafter. She is not overly keen on doing a postgrad course, partially because its so bloody hard to find one that recognises her degree. Has anybody got any tips or advice on what the next step could be? What postgrad courses actually recognise her degree? What career opportunities lie ahead of her?
The DIT website says very little about it and its coming to the stage now where she is genuinely concerned about whats going to happen after June.

Thanks very much for your help,
    AV

Completely agree...fooked....I did the course and if you don't like working in gyms theres nothing!! I'm one of the lucky ones working as a manager, people in my class from four years ago are working in banks, shops ect... 5 out of a class of 30 are in gyms.....stupid waste of four years of my life..
