    Hi,

Me and a couple of others (all guys) are planning a weekend of boozing somewhere, probably in the summer. I'm just wondering what Bundoran nightlife is like, ie pubs, nightclubs, etc and is there anything like go-karting or activities in the daytime.

Age of group would be mid twenties to mid thirties.

    Any feedback appreciated.

    Thanks.

Around July 12th is never a great time for going to Bundoran and the same could be said of the first 2 weeks in August. Sad to say that the town does attract quite a rowdy crowd from Northern Ireland. In saying that 95% of the people from there are grand but there is always that little element.

you have two nightclubs jumping jacks where the older crowd go not to bad but if busy it can be like a cattle mart good spot for a late late drink fusionis where the kids and i mean kids go stay well away ajoining it you have paris a disco bar nice spot but any time i was in it it was very queit it caters for a bit more upmarket.but then there is nothing upmarket about bundoran and dont worry about the nordies they stoped coming since the sterling got weak.in a nutshell bundoran is a kip

I was there for a weekend the year before last, one of the worst places I have ever been out.

for lively pubs try the chasing bull, kicking donkey and my persoal fave the ould bridge bar. As for accomodation there is plenty of self catering places that would be better than hotels and cheaper too. A good few bed and breakfasts too that are very reasonable. try st josephs villa on the church rd or wards on tullen strand. enjoy yer weekend

To be honest, Donegal town is a much better town to socialise in. Bundoran is great for slot machines and poker machines. It gets some trouble during the afformentioned time of the year, but u will b grand if u mind your own business.

Bundoran is great for surfing, mountain walks in letirim, one or 2 decent restaurants, one good bar, one middling nite club. Thats about it.
