I tackled my lawn today with the mower. first time since september. i found that there were quite a few bumps or lumps underfoot. i'm thinking they might have been caused by worms. does the lawn need to be rolled and how would i go about it? cheers.

If they are worm casts I would not be overly worried about it. They will flatten out with rain and you dont want to close up the worm hole. Afterall they are helping to airate the lawn.

They'll disolve back into teh soil with rain and use.
Dont forget worm casts are highly potent fertiliser.
