just wondering would anyone have an idea to as what lights could be used behind a canvas picture?
currently there is a wall light on the wall and want to put a canvas there instead of it. it would be nice to have a light behind it since the power for light is there.

For this you want a light that:
    1) Has good coluor rendering properties

    2) Will not get too hot; it would not be good to set fire to your picture!

    3) Is slim enough to fit behind your picture.

    4) Will give a nice even light output, so you do not have a bright spot on your picture.

I think something like this is what you want.

You may need a few to give even lighting. They are cheap enough to buy, easy to mount, easy to install and energy efficient too! They are also available in many different sizes.

would have suggested this also and ied go for led rope instead of neon and the led is brighter and has a crisper light
