scanner Frequencies?

    Hi folks i wonder can anyone help. i just bought a hand held scanner .
    the problem im not sure how to put freqs on to it :confused:.

    the scanner is a Uniden BC246T Trunk Tracker III . any help would be great .

    Have you the manual? If not google and find someplace to download it from (Uniden's site has many)
    There is no Trunked Radio in USA sense here.

    Back again with another quick question folks. i want to wipe the freqs off my scanner and start fresh how woulid i go about doing this or is it possible:confused:

    sorry for all the questions but i just cant seem to get my uniden bc246T scanner sorted
    can anyone help me? i would like to put my saved freqs into groups like

    public saety
    news
    ham
    rail
    air

    i would like to group them so that i dont have a mix mash of everything.

    Welcome to Boards, djshane.

    Scanner frequencies from 0.06MHz to 10,000MHz are freely available on the net.

    But it's illegal in Ireland (and most countries) to publish specific frequencies used by "Services" other than the Band used.

    Please read the Charter/Stickies/Rules.

    It's also bad form to sign up on a forum simply to pimp/spam your own Site.
