Is it an Orbit II? or the Orbit I

I have numerous Orbit II's for staff.

Nothing but battery problems and having to reset the device as they go into a lock mode which cannot be unlocked.

I flashed the devices with ROM which contained a Windows upgrade from OS 6.0 to 6.1.

Also switch off the 3G as it kills the battery life.

They work like a charm now.

Read all instructions before attempting upgrade!!

    Hi,

Just a quick question as you are discussing the orbit, I've got an orbit 2 and love it, is there any plans for an orbit 3 in the pipe line, or is o2 just going to push the iphone instead

Have you tried clear storage? Its under settings and system That brings it back to Factory default as per out of the box.

Dont think they are calling it the Orbit anymore.
They are maunfactured by HTC. O2 get alot of there branded stuff from HTC. There are a few newer ones out there.

the guy i bought it off put an artemis rom on it which seemed ok .
just really want it back to o2 setup as it's for my missus.
can't source the o2 rom as it seems to be discontinued.

Check out the forum on XDA Developers, as they seem to have information and roms available for practically every Windows Mobile device.

The Orbit II is a rebadged HTC Touch Cruise.

The successors to the Touch Cruise seem to be the HTC Touch Diamond and Touch Pro devices.
So i wouldn't say there'll be an Orbit III.
