    As we can see from the flurry of Press Releases from various different countries over the last few days how seriously other these other countries are taking the "broadband deficit". This too should be prioritised by our own government.
    Apart from being a key economic metric it just makes sense to do it properly.
    (Banking crises aside)

    So with that in mind:
    Where is the NGN plan? It's a year late.
    Ditch the NBS and let's have some real broadband
    Abolish or reform Comreg and release them from the "regulatory capture" prison.
    Fix LLU and let's get SLU onto the "pitch"
    Let's have sanity restored to the line rental market
