Replacement floorboard

    Anybody any idea where i could source(and have fitted) a replacement 1965 length of floorboard?The length is about 7 foot and I *think* its pine.

    Hey Degs,

    try a search for "architectural salvage" on google, they're firms who specialise in keeping that sort of thing.

    You probably won't get a perfect colour match, and might have to revarnish the floor to cover it, or move the new floorboard to a less conspicuous part of the room / another room.

    If you're really lucky, maybe there's neighbours around your estate with big skips from doing building work. They might be throwing it out.
