Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Sounds lazy uh?
I hope to get to a few motorsport events this year, (rally & F1), and I'm thinking a decent padded backpack (airplane friendly), with monopod straps, and with an integrated seat, would be fantastic!

This is a backpack for fishing gear that is available in Argos, but gives you an idea of what I'm taking about.

    Looking to pack Nikon D300, walk-about 18-55VR, 70-300VR, sb800 and chargers.

    Any suggestions?

Check out Pelli cases on the net and then buy from local hop, there is a Size that fits airine regs and as its a hard case you can sit on it, quite expensive but worth it imo!

I have the linked one, but I think I got it in the UK some time ago. It is ideal for what you want it for. I use mine for my shooting as the grass/bog tends to get a tad wet where I wait up.

Thanks Dodgykeeper - great cases all right, but not as portable as I'd like.

Trojan911 - actually going to go and buy one of the ones in Argos and see if I can get my Lowepro Off Trail 2 to fit inside it! A bit of a work-around, but might do the job.

Or you could just get a foldable tripod stool, and carry it like a monopod/tripod.
