    Well,
Apple have spoken. And the word is:

    IPhone jailbreak is illegal!
What now? Boards going to prison?

    Seriously: any thoughts?
Is it ridiculous? Does it have any meaning? Will St Wozniak go to jail now?

I'd pay good money to see this court case.

Judge: so, what did he do?
Apple: he jailed broke his Iphone
    Judge: his phone?
Apple: yes, the phone he bought from us, the phone which is his property

    Wtf like?

Next week, nokia are taking me to court for Dropping 6300 rendering it useless

Please, this has not gone through any court as yet. It is not illegal to jailbreak, we have a hard enough time on here answering questions about jailbreaking already without "I want to jailbreak but dont want to go to jail" from people who are too lazy to google.

And just because a judge says something in the US does not mean it applies here.

Boards will ban people from selling jailbroken iphones, just like they did with the modded consoles

I notice it doesn't say unlocking is illegal.

    I can live with that.
