Just so that I can make an informed decision on this, will those who want to put their name in for the tournament, please indicate if there were 2 day 1's, which one would suit you best, day 1a (Thursday April 23rd) or day 1b (Friday, April 24th).

Also, for those who entered already, could ye answer the same quesrtion for me either by PM or here on the thread.


Note: no decision has yet been made as to have 2 x day 1's. We will look at it and decide in the next few days.

Hi Connie,

My cousin John (KFC John) has booked 3 and I had asked for 2 but not sure if you have me down for 1 or 2 on my request.

If you are doing 2 day 1s, three NCW players can play Thursday

I now have a total of 3 coming from Northern Ireland(2 I requested plus another friend of theirs now interested if space) and they can only play Friday and they would also need accomodation also for Friday and Saturday night - 1 twin and 1 single.

John will be back to you tonight to pay for 4 tickets and I will be getting the balance next week for whatever else you can sort out depending on whether you have 2 day 1s.

Hi Ger,
Everything is going ahead of course . My problem at the moment is that I have 50 volunteers for day 1a and about 120 for 1b, and that just wont work! So I'm going to stick up a new thread later today to get some confirmations.

All the locals I have are after paying a non refundable deposit so thats fine. (50-60). The other 100 + names are all through boards and lads ringing me up. So I want to get these lads just to reconfirm so I can find out exactly where I am with numbers. At a squueze, I can do 120 in the club,(just 1 start day), if i have to go to 2 start days, I need to even out the starters between 1a and 1b.
Otherwise, I'll have to play day 1 outside the club in a local hotel (thats been checked out at the moment).
So far, we have approx 170 players saying they're coming (and still getting phone calls!).
