Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Seriously looking at trying to spend from July-Sept this year working/living in london. Probably heading over by meself but wudent mind any job if it would cover the essentials for the couple of months.

Been to the city loads of times and really love the buzz of the place but have never really tried to work out how handy it is for students to get summer work over there. Looked at gumtree etc but still is a bit early to get an idea of what sort of positions (if any) are available.

Anybody else here tried a summer over there? it would be great to hear what ya thought of getting work/accomadation etc

Brighton might be a better option- its where lots of Londoners spend their summer weekends and its a kicking town. Shouldn't be too difficult to get bar/rest. work if you've got experience.
London is only an hour on the train so if you want to see the sights then its not too far.

If you are really set on London and need a bed for 3-4 months I believe the big universities rent out campus rooms, not sure of prices but they are a good place to start.
