Heart of Gold - Neil Young

I know everyone is sick of these but they are classics none the less; either....
    Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody
Led Zeppelin - Stairway to Heaven
    Metallica - Nothing Else Matters
Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here
    SOAD - Toxicity
    Muse - New Born

I'd probably choose Bohemian Rhapsody....Just my opinion though.

Black Tide are great young band with huge potential imo
Although Warriors of time wouldn't be one of my favourites

Impossible to pick one song really, however at the moment I would say Beyond The Pale by Pain of Salvation, certainly in terms of lyrics

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

Ive heard Miley Cyrus songs I enjoyed more than Black Tide......

I havent really ever given much thought to the best song thing, alas I'd recommend Neil Young - Cowgirl in the Sand.

Not my absolute favorite but everything else has been posted:
    Hotel California

Eventhough I am a big music fan for over 30 years it has to be "Nothing else matters" By Metallica:)

    Hotel California.

I have to say Hotel California beats Stairway to Heaven any day.

I really think the solo in Stairway is over rated, but I ****ing love the riff after the solo. But then again who doesn't. Best acoustic headbang :)

Can't believe the amount of people who are voting for Hotel California. You might as well be voting for something as lame as Country Roads or Sweet Home. Come on, you surely have better taste than that!

    Pantera - Cowboys From Hell

    orrrrrr.....

Megadeth - Wake Up Dead (just for pure riffage!)

Tho I think their best song is Nutshell - its so heart-breakingly prophetic of Layne's demise :(

I'm not really mad about these kind of topics really, there is no best song ever. Its very subjective, and of course different people will have different opinions.
