Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Alright - so we've threads for DOF and bokeh...where's the appreciation for grain/high iso shots?

As per the DOF/Bokeh threads - All high iso shots go here.
    • Guideline - High iso means anything over or including 1600iso for digital (unless you're using pete's oldie D1 or film)

    Let the grain commence!

Challengemaster....thats a total challenge for my D1 to rock out at 1600 ISO...probably all B&W but it's going to happen...its the only thing I have that can give me grain/noise in daylight right now (in a hurry!). I might end up eating my words on this one though!?!?!?

I feel like I'm cheating as the ISO of the Canon MK II is so good and 1600-3200 is a breeze so.....
