Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

A 42inch full HD Phillips tv. Price is 612.03! Shipping is only 14.90! WTF?! This couldn't be real!
Can anyone find a fault or tell me if its right? Follow the link please...

Wow. Great price. Let's test it out!

Anybody know if it meets Irish DTT standards?

I take it COFDM + DVB-T = Yes to that question but just want confirmation.

This is by no means too good to be true lads. This would be about whats its worth if you consider the competition. The reason the price is "so low" is because this is a very old model. I would imagine this was introduced in 2007. To put that into perspective, the successors of these models will be replaced soon enough. This model would be seriously lacking in terms of black level, for a start. Theyre only quoting 120001 for a start, which means the blacks would be pretty awful compared to, say some of last years models from Sony or Samsung. Another problem that years Philips models had, was input lag. I would seriously resist buying this if gaming was going to be a big priority. Also, it does'nt have any 100hz feature. There's a tv in Bargain Alerts at the moment. A 42" Toshiba 1080p in Argos for about 620e. Thats by no means a great tv either but it would be better than this for similar money.

By the way, this tv definitely wont work with Irish DTT
