Sorry, I never quite finished out this one (http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=69959270&postcount=1472), just in case the historians are digging up this thread in years to come!

    1) - Leat Beg Pier, near Rinboy (SS Glaniamore loading granite for Scotland)
    2)- Neil T Blaney bridge
    3)- Great Pollet Arch Fanad
4)- St. Colmcille's well at Carryblagh in Portsalon
5)- View from Ballywhorisky Pier (sorry impossible photo!)
6)- Buncrana / Rathmullan ferry looking back towards Rathmullan
    7)- Glenveagh

    Here's a new one:

    or from meenlaragh?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,523 ✭✭✭TJJP

actually, looking at the waves, and the land below by the sea, i'd guess further round the coast at magheraroarty, on the way to ardsbeg/derryconnor?

also, as I was in carrickfinn today, i took quite a few amateur photos, decided to stick them into
an online panorama maker thingy and came up with this.

    http://www.dermandar.com/view.php?pano=eOOrBm

although not perfect, i thought it looks ok and prob no better place to put it than here

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,523 ✭✭✭TJJP

That panorama is pretty cool, no such weather here on the east coast today, or any day. You Donegal folks are, mostly, pretty lucky.

My photo isn't Magheraroarty, on the way to Ardsbeg/Derryconnor though. Keep trying.

Very close, or close enough. It's from Fanad, bit further north of murrin hill at trialough.
