Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hey folks, I'm looking to buy my first SLR and was wondering if this would be a good starter kit, I see the Tamron lens dosn't have VR. Ive got 500 euros to spend Would I be better buying a standard D60 and lens first and then looking into lens later. Or maybe you could reccomend a better camera within budget? Thanks…

Seems like a good enough package.

VR is nice & more useful on a longer lens, but hey we got by without it for years.

The D60 is my choice of camera, and I couldn't recommend it enough, absolutely love it. I bought the single lens kit up in Jessops in Newry and I have had no problems since, however I wouldn't be able to help you on the lens frount just yet.
